Christine is a Certified Personal Trainer and certified ACE Health Coach. In addition to private and semi-private personal training, Christine is happy to offer affordable group fitness at San Diego Premier Training, and even some free workouts. She also volunteers as a running coach for InMotion Fit, the official training program for the Carlsbad Marathon and Half.
It surprises most people that Christine has always been terrible at sports, that she was obese in college, and that she couldn’t even run one mile. She became more active and lost weight, but continued to hate running into her late thirties. It was then she found out how well running works with pizza and beer. Since then, Christine has run 2 full marathons and over 40 half marathons, which turns out to be a lot of pizza and beer. She also likes lifting heavy stuff and hitting things.

Beyond Driven Training is a philosophy that I have adapted over my years of training myself as well as other individuals. Beyond Driven is not about pushing yourself past your own limits but it creates a community of like minded people all with one purpose and one desire, each member will be able to push the other person further than they ever thought possible.
For years I strived and pressed hard to accomplish everything I had in life. I trained hard, worked hard and tried to achieve everything I could by myself. But, when I allowed others to help me in this process I saw that more was accomplished through the efforts that we were putting forth. Family is everything!!!
I specialize in helping young athletes take their performance to the next level. My experience and education in human movement has helped me train athletes to reach their full potential and get all they can out of their own ability.

Nicky Perry became a certified personal trainer through NASM in 2008. She became a personal trainer because despite playing several sports, she struggled with her weight throughout her teens and twenties. She finally learned the proper science behind fitness and nutrition and went on to achieve and maintain her personal goals through proven and maintainable lifestyle changes. She applied all she had learned when she decided to start competing in figure and bikini competitions and despite placing first in several shows, the true reward was knowing how far she had come in her understanding of weight management.
Based on these experiences, Nicky’s personal mission is to help other people who have felt intimidated by public gyms the way she did in the past and to help them associate fitness with feeling empowered and successful. She believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness and nutrition, and what might work well for one person may not for another. Regardless of the client however, all her programs are created from the standpoint of correcting or maintaining proper postural alignment so that every body may move efficiently without pain or injury. While her speciality is men and women with fat loss and/or lean muscle gain goals, she also loves working with older populations, kids and teens, clients coming back to exercise after injury and fitness competitors preparing for a show.
Rachel Nesseth was born and raised in San Diego County, where she grew up with a passion for dance and animals. She rode horses in local shows and danced throughout the state for various studios, workshops, and school performances. She attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara to study kinesiology and dance. Her passion for dance continued with the school dance company, Winddancers. During an exchange semester she interned with the Boston Ballet in the education and outreach programs while attending classes at Harvard. She received Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, cum Laude from Westmont College in 2011.
After moving back to San Diego, Rachel attended the University of St. Augustine to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, DPT.
Nutrition and fitness go hand in hand
I specialize in knowing what to eat and when and what kind of fitness to focus on to support all your activities or in activities. Nutrition is important because you are what your food eats. We can all agree that if you consume toxins, your body riddled with that toxin, soft tissue to bone. I have trained and optimized the nutrition of collegiate and professional athletes, weekend-warriors and ushered in those new to nutrition and fitness for over 18 years.
What do you want to achieve? How do you want to feel? How can I help you?
These are questions I ask when meeting with clients and developing the right personal fitness program.
Combining experience with results is how we show our clientele how to lead a healthier lifestyle and become more functionally fit.
I tell my clients that a Personal Trainer should be an instrument to your success and the correct exercise regimen is an investment to your overall health.
As an athlete, certified personal trainer and specialist in sports nutrition, my goal is to coach my clients to their full mental and physical potential. My individualized physique transformation programs, and training and nutrition plans will take your body and/or sports performance, from average to amazing through proper nutrition, training and mental habits that last a lifetime.
I want to set you up for success by creating a fun and challenging plan for you to follow either as an add-on to our personal training sessions, or through my highly successful Online Fitness and Nutrition program.
During our complimentary consultation and training session, we will meet, learn about each other and determine the best way to work together to achieve your goals. I’m always excited to coach men and women, of any age, who are eager to evaluate their goals and put a plan in place to make them happen. Schedule today! Your success is important to me too.

Considering the history of the human race, MOVEMENT THEORY™ recognizes that our culture’s technology is progressing quickly. This quick progression has led to important breakthroughs in the way we live today but has also developed shortcuts that are impacting our health negatively. New diseases and disorders have spawned that were not present in history. Constant stressors impede our lives causing internal and external imbalances. In modern society the convenience of processed foods is replacing the nutrient value of whole foods. The excessive use of the chair has conditioned people to move ineffectively resulting in pain and injuries; making us less adaptable. MOVEMENT THEORY™ is making a strong effort to reveal these destructive shortcuts and offer alternative solutions to promote change and awareness in our world.
I have experienced over 30 years of coaching, training, and developing athletes into elite status at all levels of competition in various sports disciplines. As a former two sport professional athlete with over 42 years of training and conditioning, I understand the physical demands and needs an athlete requires to excel in their sport. I value that the proper application of training reinvention protocols along with long standing and effective workout mechanisms. This is what produces the greatest athletic results that dramatically elevates the level of an athletes performance.
